My journey in team sports began with Basketball in secondary school, which built my foundation in discipline and teamwork. In polytechnic, I challenged myself by joining the Women's Tchoukball team, a new environment with a sport I was not familiar with. At first, I struggled to adapt to the pace and expectations. Balancing academics and training pushed me out of my comfort zone. But I committed to consistent practice, learned from senior players, and actively sought feedback to grow. Through this, I became more resilient, adaptable, and confident as a team player. Our team won the POL-ITE Women’s Tchoukball Tournament, and I was honoured with the Full Colours Award. More than the achievements, I’ve grown to value progress over perfection and the importance of showing up for others. Moving forward, I aim to continue strengthening my teamwork and leadership skills in new settings, whether in school, work, or future group projects.
